Creating a piece of bespoke jewelry is a deeply personal collaborative journey. It is a process that begins long before the physical materials are ever touched, starting as a conversation about stories, memories, and personal aesthetics.
1. The Initial Consultation & CAD Sketching
Our bespoke design sessions are structured to translate intangible ideas into precise visual frameworks. We sit down with client sketches or references to map out initial forms. With these guidelines, our master modelers construct a 3D digital model using computer-aided design (CAD). This digital draft shows perfect dimensional scale, ensuring that stone settings and band widths align precisely with the client's hands.
"Bespoke is the language of physical storytelling. We shape raw gold and platinum to encase personal moments."
2. Wax Printing and Hand Casting
Once the CAD sketches are approved, the digital files are printed as high-resolution physical resin or wax replicas. The wax printing step lets clients try on a physical mock-up of their ring or necklace to verify size and hand proportion. After the final wax fit, the model is embedded in gypsum plaster to create a mold for vacuum-pressure metal casting.
Understanding Diamond Selection
In our next editorial, Understanding Diamond Pedigree, we will go deep into how we hand-select certified lab-grown and ethically mined diamonds to set into these completed castings.
